Global demand for gas will rise less sharply in the near future. Compared to an earlier estimate, the International Energy Agency (IEA) expects growth to be more than half lower until 2025. This is mainly due to the price of gas, which has never been so high, and the uncertainty surrounding supplies from Russia.
