Café Monk, one of the most famous cafés in the Sint-Katelijnewijk, is being thrown out of the building after ten successful years. Owner and beverage trader Horeca Logistics Services refuses to extend the lease. “I am very disappointed”, says manager Filip Jans. “Suddenly 27 employees lose their jobs, while Monk is a thriving business and a financially healthy company.”
