Ice Hockey World Cup: fire alarm – Germany game delayed, ice hockey | World Cup – Ice Hockey

The Germany vs. Denmark game at the Ice Hockey World Championships will take place about an hour later than scheduled. Because of a fire alarm, Sportschau reporter Burkhard Hupe, like hundreds of others, had to leave the hall in Finland quite quickly.

“Often something new. There was a fire alarm and probably also a fire. We don’t know anything specific,” says Hupe. The fire is said to have started in the supply wing, the smoke drifted into the hall.

Around 200 spectators are said to have already been in the hall, around 1,000 in circulation around the hall – many were still outside.
