A pop star never rests. As Noel Gallagher sat with his family in a restaurant in Ibiza, someone had a surprise in store for the musician. “Wonderwall” was suddenly heard over the loudspeakers and all the guests sang along loudly. Gallagher was all pretty embarrassed.
“Wonderwall” begins with the lines “Today is gonna be the day that they’re gonna throw it back to you”. It was the same for songwriter Noel Gallagher. Of course, the recordings of the spontaneous deposit in the restaurant immediately ended up on Twitter. Both the restaurant staff and guests applauded.

In the video, Gallagher comes across as a bit like a birthday boy, not quite sure how to respond to the “Happy Birthday” chants. The 55-year-old’s head turned red, finally he clapped politely and was obviously happy that the moment was over.
