Ibai Llanos has beaten this Saturday, June 25, the record for highest concurrent viewership on Twitchwith the live broadcast of the ‘Year 2 Soiree‘ which, at 8:00 p.m., has already reached the more than three million connected devices at the same time to watch the boxing event in streaming, which is being held at the Palau Olímpic in Badalona (Barcelona).
Until now, the Twich record was held by the popular ‘streamer’ TheGrefg, who gathered more than 2.5 million viewers during the presentation of his Fortnite skin last year. The previous record was held by Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, who in 2018 gathered 635,000 viewers to follow his departure with rapper Drake.
The first evening de Ibai, which was held in 2021, reached peaks of 1.5 million connected devices to watch it live, and had more audience than the Europa League final, which was broadcast at the same time. This year, on the other hand, the 1.5 million viewers had already been exceeded during the broadcast of the Red carpet prior to the start of the fighting, in the early afternoon.
