After last year’s success, the 3-on-3 basketball event returns to Barcelona on April 21
After last year’s success, Ibai Llanos and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) come together again to host the second edition of the FIBA 3×3 Streamers Tournament to be held in Barcelona on April 21.
Some of the world’s most popular streamers will jump onto the official 3v3 court to play in real competition with FIBA 3v3 rules. The event can be followed through the Ibai Twitch channel and the participants will be announced soon.
In the first edition of last year, the event was the most watched of the day on Twitch, with an average of 150,000 devices connected live and a peak of 193,000. In total, more than 2 million people viewed the event on the Ibai channel.
Exciting, urban and innovative, 3X3 is inspired by different forms of street basketball that is played around the world and is considered the number one urban team sport in the world. Olympic sport since the Tokyo 2020 Games, it will be present again in Paris 2024.
