Guus Meeuwis states that he is not the well-known artist who will create a new musical program together with Rob Kemps. “I was not approached by him,” he says on Radio 538.
Rob Kemps has revealed on the radio that Talpa is finally taking him off the reserve bench. He will make a mix of a studio program and a ‘docu-like setting’, presumably in the United States. He will do that with a musical colleague, but he does not yet want to say with whom.
Gus is not going
Maybe it will be Guus Meeuwis? He is asked the question Radio 538. “Just Guus… I heard something and I don’t know if it’s true, but I’ve got you on the phone now, so I’ll check it out. I heard the rumor that you are going to make a TV program with Rob Kemps,” asks presenter Tim Klijn.
Guus then says: “No, that wasn’t me. No, that wasn’t me, no. Yes, I saw it. He was going to do a program with someone from music. I like that you immediately think of me, but there are more people who do something in music.”
“You don’t have that scoop”
Tim: “Yeah, but not as good as you.”
Gus: “No, well…”
Sidekick Niels van Baarlen: “I think that was fueled by that program you did with Frank Lammers, about Bruce Springsteen.”
Guus: “Ooooh, ah, yes, yes. No, sorry, I was not approached by Rob Kemps. You don’t have that scoop.”
