An ex-miss known from television and a social media influencer Elina Tervo got into a life-threatening situation in Jerusalem.
Tervo and his friend had visited a beautiful viewpoint. When leaving the vantage point, they and their car got stuck in a traffic jam on the way to the highway.
Tervo tells Iltalehte how a 13-15-year-old boy passed the car and peeked inside.
– He suddenly started yelling at us in a fit of rage, Tervo recounts the events to Iltalehti.
After a while there was a crash. In the next second, the back window of the car broke. A large rock had been thrown at the car and glass chips were everywhere.
Other teenagers came around the car and started kicking and throwing stones
– Stones were flying from all directions. I still had the window open at that point and I shouted to them, what the hell are you doing. I closed the window and then a rock hit it.
No one came to the aid of Tervo and his friend and no other cars were stoned. The scary situation ended when the car hose started moving again.
– I shouted to my friend to drive, drive, they will kill us.
The two made it to safety at the gas station.
– I was shaking. It could have been worse. The situation was really scary.
Tervo says that the locals told him that elections are coming up in Israel and that riots and arson are now increasing.
