I repudiated Lilita Carrió: what the leaders of the Pro wrote on Twitter

Elisa “Lilita” Carrio targeted several leaders of Together for Change for their closeness to Serge Massa, and generated a chorus response, not only from the Pro, but also from the UCR, the majority parties in the opposition coalition.

Carrió, positioning himself as the “moral rescue” in JXC, fired at the “Peronists” of Together for Change: the president of the Pro deputies bloc, Christian Ritondoformer Minister of the Interior Roger Frigerio, and the former president of the Chamber of Deputies during the government of Mauricio Macri, Emilio Monzo.

“There is a partnership with massismo in Together for Change. The former Minister of Security of Buenos Aires, Christian Ritondoand the one who was Minister of Justice, of business with the massismo, Gustav Ferrari. There are key people from Together for Change who do business”, he started.

“(snack) put me one lover on a list, and I said ‘I’m getting off the Capital list if they don’t take Frigerio’s lover out of me’, who was even his figurehead”, he denounced. And he concluded with Emilio Monzo: “I had business with Massa because I saw him”.

The first to intervene, via Twitter, was Patricia Bullrich (@PatoBullrich), who wrote: “As president of the PRO I cannot look favorably on the degrading show of Elisa Carrio, by hitting leaders of Together for Change objecting to their ethical conduct. And this without looking at his own and that of his allies. Enough, Carrio.”

Emilio Monzo (@monzoemilio), joined from his account supporting the president of the Pro: “I share every word, @PatoBullrich. I worked to form Cambiemos and I will continue working so that Together for Change is an alternative for those who want an Argentina of work and progress, ”she tweeted.

Christian Ritondo

Y Christian Ritondo, another of those directly alluded to by Lilita Carrió, replied: “100% Pato. Carrió again goes out to play her internal in the worst way. Dirty without sustenance those of us who gave enormous battles against Kirchnerism and the mafias generate unnecessary damage, much more so in this delicate moment in which Argentines live”.

Roger Frigerio (@frigeriorogelio), meanwhile, referred to the subject without naming Carrió: “I will always work to consolidate the unity of @JUNTOS Cambioar. Those who attempt against this objective are functional to Kirchnerism. Any complaint must be filed in court. with tests and not in television shows that continue to distance politics from society,” he said on Twitter.

Maria Eugenia Vidal (@mariuvidal), who had a good relationship with Carrió, supported Christian Ritondo, whom he supports in his aspirations to compete internally for the governorship of Buenos Aires. “Working together. Always. @cristianritondo”, the current deputy from Buenos Aires supported him. And Ritondo retweeted it, as he did with other adhesions.

Vidal and Larreta

Nestor Grindetti (@Nestorgrindetti), mayor of Lanús, tweeted: “I have known @cristianritondo and @frigeriorogelio for many years. They are two leaders re-committed to JxC. The fights between politicians are out of the agenda of the real problems of our compatriots. We have to be united to be able to move forward.”

And the former Minister of Education, Alexander Finocchiaro (@alefinocchiaro), did the same: “I shared a cabinet and fight for a better country with @cristianritondo, @frigeriorogelio, @gmilman and @monzoemilio. They are upright and honorable people who have given their best. The path is the transparency shown in management and in life. The rest is to be functional to Kirchnerism.”

The Head of Government of Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodriguez Larreta, tweeted a statement: “Many years ago from the UCR, the CC and the Pro, and now from Together for Change, we have been working together for the Republic and for the development of our beloved Argentina. Argentina that hurts us today. I have deep respect for Lilitaone of the founders of the space together with Mauricio, but I do not agree with your statements these days about different members of Together for Change. That is not the way. It is very healthy that there are internal discussions but the limit is the grievances. We have established instances such as the National Table. Mechanisms that we must continue to strengthen and institutionalize.”

Eduardo Machiavelli.

And it was retweeted by several of his collaborators. Eduardo Machiavelli (@edumacchiavelli), a key political point guard for Larretismo, wrote: “We are a broad team that was born from different forces and it is normal that there are differences, but grievances are a limit. Today we have to be working, with our ideas in common, in the coming Argentina. We always say it: the unity of @JUNTOS Cambioar is non-negotiable”.

The reply to Carrió’s statements was not exclusive to Pro leaders. Radical Civic Union (@UCRNacional) manifested itself on its official Twitter account with a Communiqué from the Driving Table, “in repudiation of the disqualifications of Elisa Carrio that affect the honor of leaders of Together for Change”: “what is expected is to work for the unity of our political space as an alternative for the country”, they marked Lilita.
