Yvonne Coldeweijer, the most feared person among famous Dutch people, says she often hears stories about Bas Smit. “There’s a reason sometimes juice doesn’t drain that quickly.”
Bas Smit has been the purveyor of your daily dose of irritainment for many years: many people get crooked toes from his hysterical Instagramact. In addition, he and his beloved Nicolette van Dam are constantly popping up in the show sections to sell their trade. But is the image they present to their followers correct?
Juice from Hong Kong
For the first time in her juice career, Yvonne Coldeweijer attacked Bas Smit last week by spreading spicy gossip about his trip with good friend John Ewbank. And with that she risks a lot, because the juice diva has understood that Bas can really make life miserable for people who get in his way.
However, juice is juice for Yvonne. “He is the person I always get the most questions about. Especially after the last juice about John Ewbank with Bas in Hong Kong,” she writes on her juice channel.
‘Hear something often’
According to Yvonne, this is not the first time she hears about Bas. “The thing is… I often hear things, but they are often too ‘via via’. If there’s first-hand juice from a direct spy, you’ll hear about it. Like the Hong Kong story.”

You can also strategically frame cheating, says Yvonne. “For example, one celebrity cheats with a young girl with Insta followers who also wants to become known herself. The other prefers to cheat with a lady who is also married, so that leakage is less likely. And do you also cheat in the Netherlands, or only abroad, for example?”
