Austrian TV presenter Martin Reuter has lost 42 kilos in just 18 months. The woman’s starting weight was 112 kilograms. Now the scale shows 70 kilos.
– It all started from the sentence: “I feel like I’m five kilos too heavy,” says Reuter Bild magazine in the interview.
The wild transformation of the mother of two children came about with a drastic change in diet and daily training. Reuter does a 90-minute strength workout every single day, with endurance training on top of that.
– There are no exceptions. Whether it’s six in the morning or eleven at night, I haven’t missed a single workout, says Reuter.
After the first 25 kilos had melted, Reuter appeared as a model in New York. After 18 intensive months of weight loss, the next challenge was ahead: the first bodybuilding competition of my life.
– That moment was magical. So honest, so powerful, so emotional, I’ll never forget it. I am grateful for my courage, my body and all the people who supported me, Reuter said after Saturday’s race on Instagram.
The woman plans to continue on her chosen path.
– I know what I have to work on before the next competition. My training continues, my concentration remains.
After the race, the next day, the woman continued her normal TV work in a live broadcast.
– From glitter bikinis back to the studio – full of pride, Reuter said.
Reuter used to be a role model for curvy women who wrote about self-love and also designed plus size fashion clothes, but then everything changed.
– The idea of pushing my body to the limits athletically was stronger.
