No less than 1.4 million viewers watched the first episode of the season and the enthusiastic reactions are pouring in.
Thinking of Holland is back
The viewers saw how André and Janny kick off the boat trip in Leiden. Before they go into the water, they quickly visit the Hortus Botanicus in that city. Then they board a small boat — much to André’s dismay. With this they have to go under many low bridges, so they have to bend over every time.
First boat trip
The first day they sail through Leiden and end in Warmond. The next day, the journey takes them across the Kagerplas to their final destination: Katwijk aan Zee.
Full program
Along the way they eat a herring, they come across a special organ and they see a well-known resident of Leiden, Jochem Myjer. In addition, Janny arranged a meeting with the initiators of the ‘Cleaner water for now and later’ project. The two tell how they ensure that as little plastic as possible disappears into the canals of Leiden.
On to Katwijk
After a glass of wine and some cheese on the water, André, Janny and Nhaan transfer to the Pollux: a much larger boat. There André finally gets a nice cup of coffee from Janny. Then follows a visit to a mill and they go strawberry picking. After a full program they end in Katwijk aan Zee. On the beach they decide to sail to Zeeland next week.
