Stella Bergsma regrets that the men of Today Inside no longer want her at the table. She was a guest there once in March, but was never invited again after that.
The performance of opinion maker Stella Bergsma in Today Inside was not entirely to the liking of the gentlemen at the time. She was diametrically opposed to the VI trio, which resulted in spicy confrontations with Johan Derksen in particular. She said that she hopes that Sigrid Kaag will become the Prime Minister of our country. “Please stop it dude!” he shouted irritated.
Stella wants in VI
Stella was no longer invited by the gentlemen after that. “I am quite regularly asked if and when I will be joining Today Inside again. I suspect that the chance is very small,” she writes on Instagram.
She continues: “I learned through someone that not everyone at the program thought it was a great success. I think that’s crazy because I was the only table lady there who was ever trending on Twitter. Admittedly because everyone was furious with me, but making people furious is precisely the success factor of someone like Derksen, isn’t it? Or is something like that going too far for a woman?”
The men of VI especially seem to be a fan of women who talk along like Hélène Hendriks. “Isn’t the woman allowed to say the wrong things, or make bad jokes and just laugh a little smugly at the naughty men?”, she says.
Sigrid Kaag
She continues: “When I was there, I drank wine, ate an olive and said I was a fan of Kaag. That made many VI fans angrier than when women are involuntarily used as candle holders. Interesting right? I would like to discuss that with the gentlemen while enjoying a glass of wine and an olive.”
When the gentlemen call her, Stella is just sitting at the table again. “’It won’t be up to me,’ I always say when people ask me if I’m sitting there again. That you know that.”
