They are both the same age: Johan Derksen and Patricia Paay. But where he can still be seen on the tube every night, she has been forgotten. “It is very quiet now. I’m going to dive in there.”
Patricia Paay was already 76 years old yesterday and therefore about seven years away from the average life expectancy for women in our country. Unfortunately, the Societyster, who was a jury member was in Holland’s Got Talent for years, has been worrying with her health since she was seventy. 2018 was an outright disaster year for her.
What’s going on?
In that year Patricia got a new hip, but not much later she fell down the stairs at home and that led to many fractures. The subsequent operation unfortunately led to a serious bacterial infection and hellish pains. All drama all. And this year not much better, because just after the turn of the year she was really sick and sick in bed.
What is all going on with Patricia and why do we never see her on television again? Private boss Evert Santegoeds has the feeling that something is going on that we don’t know.
On investigation
Evert is worried about it. “Patricia Paay turns 76. Well, congratulations. Yes, great. Paay is a bit quiet. I also missed her when saying goodbye to Rob de Nijs, so we actually have to dive in what’s going on, but she is very quiet,” he says in the podcast Strictly private.
Co-host Jordi Versteegden points out that Patricia is also very old. “She has been in the business for sixty years.”
Not hip
Evert then starts singing Patricia’s former song. “Yes, that is gradually possible. You are not hip is really a long time ago. You are not hip, you are not handsome, you do not drink beer but tomato juice. Then she was 15 or 16 I believe, so that is sixty years ago, yes.”
