Ruiz suffers from this disease but remembers that “diabetes should not prevent anyone from doing what they like best”
On the occasion of International Diabetes Day, the ambassador of the Adeslas Padel Team and diabetic athlete Álex Ruiz premieres an audiovisual piece about his experience with the disease.
From the early discovery of type 1 diabetes inherited in the family to his specific routine with the stress experienced in the competitionÁlex Ruiz reviews some of his experiences in a clear example of improvement, perseverance and effort.
“I think the most important thing is to make decisions and learn from them. In my case it is dedication to paddle tennis, which is my passion, but With discipline and follow-up, diabetes should not prevent anyone from doing what they like the most,” says Ruiz.
