FOOTBALL – Ferdi ter Avest seemed to be the match winner in Vriezenveen tonight for the home club in the main division match between DETO and HZVV, but deep in injury time it still became 2-2. Walter Dias Nzasi scored from a scrimmage after a corner. It gave the Hoogeveners the first point in 2022.
After defeats against Eemdijk, AZSV and SV Urk (last Saturday), HZVV again had a difficult opponent. DETO played easier and was also the most dangerous team before half-time, but chances for Ferdi Ter Avest, Tim Pothast and Kai Wesselink did not result in a goal.
Four goals
After the break, HZVV became stronger and the red and white brigade of trainer Rick Mulder also took the lead thanks to the fast Kelly Joao, who was also effective against Urk last Saturday. Yet HZVV was unable to hold onto the lead. In fact, the home team went on and on. Ter Avest was twice the celebrated man. So he also seemed to be the match winner, but Nzasi prevented that.
Above the danger zone
Because of the point, HZVV remains in 12th place in the main division B, with 17 points from 15 matches. This puts the Hoogeveners just above the danger zone. Just below the line, in 16th place, De Dijk is with 16 points from 16 games. Then NSC Nijkerk follows with 14 out of 16 and at the bottom is Noordscheschut with 8 out of 15.
