Oskar Schöll is the new middle builder of Handball Association Volendam. The 21-year-old German comes over from the SC Magdeburg training team.
“When I visited Volendam I immediately felt very good, which ultimately made the choice easier. This step is a very interesting and exciting challenge for me that I am very much looking forward to. I will do everything I can to support the club in achieving the objectives and also to further develop myself as a player and person in a new environment,” says Schöll on the club’s website†
“With the departure of Florent Bourget to France, we had to switch to find a good successor,” says Marco Woltersom on behalf of the club. “Oskar is an intelligent player with a good overview, but he also has a strong one against one. Besides leading the attack, we also see an important role for Oskar in coverage.”
On Sunday, Volendam will play the second game in the final for the national championship against Aalsmeer. The first game was lost 26-27.
