Hosted by Anni Ihamäki Huvila & Huussi – The best renovations – program, Ihamäki asks the members of the program’s work group what their own cabin experiences are like.
Renovation coordinator of the program Vilja Schepel says that he doesn’t have time to go to the cottages himself. This is because his summers are spent working on other people’s cottage renovations, i.e. at work.
If Schepel makes it to the cottage, however, he can’t get rid of his work.
– I was just laughing at someone Villa & Huussi it’s a bit like ruining my vacation, Schepel laughs in the program.
The renovation coordinator tells a story about how he had to hand over several cottages in a short period of time one season. After filming ended, he drove with the same eyes to the family cottage in Kuusamo.
– I woke up there in the middle of the night with a sweat pouring out, wondering what kind of place this is and because this is the handover and so on, Schepel recalls.
– Without lying, it took me half an hour to get back on the map, that I am now on vacation. This is not a project, he sums up.
