Hütter sees “very important” game against Hoffenheim

Coach Adi Hütter from Borussia Mönchengladbach does not want to give away the last game of the season in the Bundesliga against TSG Hoffenheim.

“There’s still a lot at stake. It’s about a good placement, a proper farewell to our fans and expanding our good series,” said the 52-year-old before the game against the Kraichgauer on Saturday (3:30 p.m. / Sky).

The game is therefore “very important”. Gladbach is currently in tenth place in the table, but could slip down to 13th place if the direct pursuers VfL Bochum, Eintracht Frankfurt and VfL Wolfsburg score.

Meanwhile, Hütter was not satisfied with the entire season. “There were more downs than ups. We wanted to be up front and play for the international places,” explained the coach.

After all, they were able to fight their way out of the relegation battle and a “precarious situation” in the meantime.
