Oberstdorf (dpa) – Germany’s ski jumping team manager Horst Hüttel firmly assumes that national coach Stefan Horngacher will extend his expiring contract with the German Ski Association (DSV). Hüttel said this on ZDF.
“I’m pretty sure that things will continue with Stefan Horngacher at the top. We’re in talks, it’s not all clear yet. The trend is very clear that he’ll stay with us,” explained the official. The 52-year-old Austrian Horngacher took over from his compatriot Werner Schuster after the 2018/19 season and has since led the German ski jumpers to numerous successes.
