The band with the strange name Husten still consists of singer-songwriter Gisbert zu Knyphausen, producer Moses Schneider (Beatsteaks, Tocotronic, Olli Schulz and many more) and the thin man. Their new album AUS ALLEN NÄHTEN – and after various EPs their first real – will be released on May 13, 2022. There is already a double premiere to report: Firstly, the trio is now letting you hear a new song from it with “Dasein”. And secondly, it marks the first duet in the band’s history: none other than Sophie Hunger can be heard in “Dasein”.
Husten briefly share:
“When she came rocking down the street on the day of the recording, a bright winter morning, in the best of spirits, Sophie was already singing the first few lines and grinning at us: ‘This will definitely be played a lot at funerals in the future.’ We definitely play it at the concerts.”
