Second division football club FC Hansa Rostock has signed central defender Oliver Hüsing. As the club announced on Wednesday, the 30-year-old comes on a free transfer from Arminia Bielefeld, who have been relegated to the second division, and will receive a two-year contract. After 2015 and 2017, this is Hüsing’s third move to FC Hansa.
“Oliver is an extremely strong central defender with very good tackle behavior and a strong header,” said Hansa sporting director Kristian Walter: “In addition, he knows the club and the environment very well and will therefore not need a long period of adjustment.”
In his two previous engagements in Rostock, Hüsing completed 81 third division games for the Kogge and scored nine goals.
