The return of Humberto Tan as presenter of RTL 4’s weekend talk show is a success. The Saturday edition remains a problem child – talk shows work less on this broadcast evening – but on Sunday it managed to grab 791 thousand viewers yesterday. With that he achieved a nice 19 percent market share.

Humberto scores top

Joost Maiburg, reporter for RTL Boulevard, notes in his audience rating analysis nice to note that Humberto scores better than Eva Jinek has done all week. It scored between 500,000 and 717,000 viewers from Monday to Friday.

Viewing figure connoisseur Tina Nijkamp, who sat at the table with Humberto herself yesterday, speaks of ‘beautiful numbers’. “And no less than 21.9 percent market share in the younger target group. This makes him the winner of the time slot in that target group.”

The whole of Holland Bakt wins

The big winner on prime time was NPO 1’s Heel Holland Bakt with 3.1 million viewers (48 percent) on NPO 1. “Great figures: the previous final scored much less, namely 2.4 million viewers last May,” says Tina.

However, it is not a record. “Is it a record? No, unfortunately not. For example, the final in 2017 scored 3.4 million viewers.”

De Ancestor managed to captivate 1.2 million viewers (27 percent) immediately after Heel Holland Bakt.

Edson on two

The most watched alternative to Heel Holland Bakt was the Edson da Graça show The Floor with 917 thousand viewers (15 percent) on RTL 4. He is therefore number two at eight o’clock in the evening.

Media Inside also returned with 452 thousand viewers (9 percent) on NPO 3 and Alberto Stegeman on SBS 6 attracted an audience of 539 thousand viewers (13 percent). Immediately before that, Patrick Laureij’s cabaret show Nederlands Hoop did a lousy job with 225 thousand viewers (4 percent).
