Huizen will receive not one, but two reception ships for refugees

Huizen will receive not one, but two boats on which refugees will be accommodated in the coming months. The municipality will let you know. Until now there has always been one boat.

The fact that two boats are now coming changes nothing. The total number of refugees received remains the same, they are just divided between two smaller boats. All in all, it concerns one hundred and fifty to two hundred refugees.

First residents expected this week

The two cruise ships will dock in the port of Huizen tomorrow morning, and in the following days they will be prepared to serve as refugee shelters. The first residents of the ships are expected this week.

At the request of the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers, Huizen is speeding up the opening of refugee shelters, because there is a high demand for reception places. The reception on the two ships will last until April next year.
