Hugo Logtenberg, who stopped presenting Op1 this month, is quite surprised about a call from RTL Boulevard. The show column wanted to know if he has a girlfriend or not.

It was over for Hugo Logtenberg at the beginning of this month: after two years he stopped presenting Op1. Like all other presenters who left, he gave the reason that you are in a very tight straitjacket with the program. His departure has passed silently; he hasn’t really been able to make his mark on the program.

‘All time low!’

Hugo has become a more famous Dutchman through his years at Op1. He has even aroused the interest of the editorial boys and girls of RTL Boulevard. “Boulevard called a while ago to check if I had a partner, a hilarious low,” he says in the VARAguide.

Hugo is surprised that Boulevard calls him about this. “Obviously people think that’s important to know. I have two rules: I never say anything about my political affiliation and never say anything about my children.”

Children

Ah, so Hugo doesn’t have a relationship, but does he have children? “Three fantastic teenagers, but I want to allow them to grow up in complete freedom and give them a carefree childhood.”

Furthermore, Hugo remains a closed book. “I almost never give interviews, because I think a journalist should take them and not give them. Anyway, if you’re doing something on television or you’ve written a book, I understand that sometimes you have to believe it.”
