It is a ‘wise decision’ by Facebook parent company Meta not to proceed with the plans for a large data center in Zeewolde, says Minister Hugo de Jonge (Spatial Planning). Earlier, the company decided to suspend all the plans for the time being, but on Thursday the idea was finally scrapped.
