Hugo Boss opens Digital Campus in Portugal

Hugo Boss has opened a digital campus together with the consulting company Metyis, which deals with solutions for the areas of big data, digital commerce, marketing and design.

The Metyis campus is located in Gondomar, Portugal, Hugo Boss announced on Thursday. The new Hugo Boss Digital Campus is also part of this business hub, in which more than 15 million euros have been invested. The new location of the Metzingen-based fashion group focuses on the areas of e-commerce, advanced business analytics as well as technology and data.

“The Hugo Boss Digital Campus is an important milestone on our way to becoming the world’s leading technology-driven fashion platform in the premium segment,” says Daniel Grieder, CEO of Hugo Boss. “In partnership with Metyis, we will expand our digital competencies and data analysis capabilities, harness the potential of data and thereby increase the competitiveness and efficiency of our business activities.”

The Hugo Boss Digital Campus – a joint venture between Metyis and Hugo Boss – creates 250 new jobs. In total there are 1000 new jobs through the Metyis Campus.
