Hugo Boss has appointed Victoria Schneyer as Head of Global Store Design.

Schneyer announced her new position on Linkedin on Wednesday. She comes from Adidas to the Metzingen fashion group. She worked for almost eight years in various positions in the field of retail design at the Sportartikler in Herzogenaurach, most recently as Senior Director Global Retail Design. Before that she worked in Sydney at the design consultancy Design Clarity.

She will have a lot to do at Hugo Boss, because the fashion giant is expanding its store network. The total investments in stationary retail amount to 500 million euros by 2025, according to the plans of Managing Director Daniel Grieder. 80 percent of its own stores are to be redesigned within the next few years. The Boss brand alone opened ten of its own stores in the first half of 2022, including a flagship store on London’s Oxford Street and new stores in Dubai and Rome, according to the quarterly report from early August. In the second quarter of the current fiscal year, Hugo Boss’ entire stationary retail business recorded a growth of 38 percent compared to the previous year.
