The enormous traffic jam on the A7 between Hoorn and Zaanstad is decreasing. According to Rijkswaterstaat, the road is now free, but road users should still take into account a delay of 45 minutes.
The traffic jam was caused by an accident. Furthermore, the morning rush hour in the province seems to be not too bad. There is only a traffic jam on the A9 between Alkmaar and Amstelveen, causing a delay of 10 minutes.
