Huge Halloween crowds in Walibi cause angry visitors: “We seemed to be in ‘The Walking Dead’ ourselves” | Instagram HLN

Online people mainly complain about the huge queues. Some even indicated that they had waited almost 3 hours for a rollercoaster. Due to the crowds, the parking lot was also bustling and for many it was a long wait for food. Throughout the park it was also often the case with the crowd: “We seemed to be right in an episode of ‘The Walking Dead’”, says a visitor.

“It was a surprise. We had to queue for a long time to get in, but that was nothing compared to the super long queues for the attractions. It’s not normal for them to let in so many people,” said one visitor on Twitter. The reactions to the haunted houses themselves are very positive, but there were also long queues.

Spokeswoman Justien Dewil advises people without a ticket, or with a ticket by date, to come by later this Halloween period. “These are the busiest days of Halloween. But we celebrate Halloween for 16 days in this park, so there is still time until November 6”, Dewil told Radio 1. It is also very busy in other amusement parks. Bellewaerde had to refuse visitors in Ypres, for example.
