Traffic on the A67 towards Eindhoven must expect significant delays on Tuesday morning due to an accident. At around half past eight the delay was 168 minutes.
The accident happened on Tuesday morning around a quarter past seven between three cars. The left lane is closed between Asten and the Leenderheide junction.
Traffic must also take delays into account on the A2 between Weert and Eindhoven. There the extra travel time is seventeen minutes for twelve kilometers.
On the A50 between Eindhoven and Sint Oedenrode, the left lane is closed after an accident. The extra travel time there was twenty minutes at a quarter to nine. It is also busy in the other direction of the A50, between Uden-Zuid and Sint-Oedenrode. There, road users must take into account 18 minutes of delay.
Normal rush hour
There were 420 kilometers of traffic jams across the country around half past eight, according to Rijkswaterstaat, a usual picture for Tuesday morning.
The KNMI warned of local slippery conditions due to freezing of wet road sections. Rijkswaterstaat gritters have spread more than 980,000 kilos of salt throughout the country since seven o’clock on Monday evening.
