It is extremely busy at Eindhoven Central station. There is a long line of travelers waiting in the heat for the replacement buses that run to Boxtel. There are no trains between Eindhoven and Boxtel. The NS advises travelers to postpone their journey.

New switches on the track
New switches will be laid on the track between Eindhoven and Boxtel in the coming days by rail manager ProRail. That is why there will be no trains from Eindhoven to Tilburg and from Eindhoven to Den Bosch in the near future.
This concerns twelve new points, eight of which are high-speed points. These are 140 meter long points that are heated electrically instead of with a gas heater.
It is a monster job for ProRail, which has been preparing for a year and a half. Ultimately, the new points should lead to fewer train disruptions.
