After the investigations initiated against coach Gregg Berhalter, the US association named Anthony Hudson as interim coach of the national football team.
Hudson will oversee the US team at January camp with two internationals against Serbia (January 25) and Colombia (January 28). This was announced by US Soccer on Wednesday.
The association is investigating Berhalter because of a long-ago physical attack on his current wife Rosalind. According to the association, it was only on December 11 that the association found out about the allegations and commissioned a law firm to conduct an independent investigation.
The association left Berhalter’s future as a US coach open, his contract with the co-hosts of the 2026 World Cup expired at the turn of the year.
