Will the events surrounding the Berlin chaos election one day provide enough material for a political satire on Netflix? Or rather for a soap opera on RTL?
Because it’s getting completely absurd. First, the capital fails to properly conduct an election, then no politician wants to take responsibility for it, and finally, Berlin judges order a repetition.
Exactly that is now on the brink, because 43 plaintiffs are going before the Federal Constitutional Court. Does Karlsruhe accept the case and postpone the redial?
State politicians are now speculating about this. Even many experts can hardly see through it anymore – the constant hooting and hooting will probably cause additional frustration among voters.
