It’s that time again: the 56th Super Bowl will take place in the night from Sunday to Monday. t-online tells you how and where you can watch the football cracker live.
It is the largest single sport event in the world. The 56th Super Bowl is taking place in Inglewood, California this year. The Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams meet in the final of the US professional football league NFL on Sunday night.
Who is the focus?
The quarterbacks, of course. Joe Burrow (25) led the Bengals to the Super Bowl in his second year in the NFL for the first time since 1989 and impressed with some spectacular performances. For example in the conference finals against the favorite Kansas City Chiefs, when he turned a 3:21 deficit to a 27:24 in overtime.
Before the season, the Rams brought in a true NFL veteran in Matthew Stafford (34) to serve star receivers Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr.
Who is the favourite?
In the Bengals versus Rams duel, the pressure is on the hosts, who were only the second team after the Buccaneers to reach the Super Bowl in their own stadium in 2021. The Rams’ 2019 Super Bowl defeat by the New England Patriots should finally be forgotten. Cincinnati, on the other hand, has never lifted the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
