How to participate in the fashion shows, Milan Fashion Week 2024

Un dream come true: attend a fashion show, in recent seasons, it is possible even if you are not an expert. In fact, there are more and more brands offering prizes tickets to attend to their shows, making them, in all respects, open to the public.

At New York Fashion Week Tory Burch makes the everyday sublime

With the Milan Fashion Week February 2024 just around the corner, several fashion houses have reduced the distance between themselves and fans by creating special ways of involvement. From presentations to actual fashion shows: here’s how to participate in the parades of MFW.

Diesel is for everyone, once again

He is not new to this type of initiative even if for the autumn winter 2024 2025 collection he opted for a different method the past years. Who are we talking about? From Diesel, the Milanese brand that in September had around a hundred fans go wild in the pouring rain during its fashion show/rave at MFW. This season too the brand has decided to open the parade to the public, but in a completely different way. With a voyeuristic approach, a thousand people will have the opportunity to intellectually participate in the show digitally. Furthermore, in live streaming on Diesel channels, from 18 to 21 February it will be possible for anyone to stream the castingto the preparation, to the styling and to preparation for the show. Obtaining what is, for all intents and purposes, a backstage pass (remotely).

Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini rewards fans

Opening the fashion shows to fans and enthusiasts pays off. This is demonstrated by the brands that, after experimenting with it for a season, propose the initiative again with l‘goal to involve, be discovered and followed by a new audience (often very young). So too Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini has decided to extend the coveted invitations to its AW24 fashion show on Friday 23 February, promising themonly to the most loyal and creative fans. There are 5 tickets up for grabs, to be won via two modes. The first will reward the best comment under a dedicated post on the brand’s Instagram profile (which we attach below).

The secondreserved for the four remaining tickets, is a real one lottery which you can participate by filling out a form. Where to find it? It will appear alone on Instagram or Facebook as a sponsored page only to the most interested followers who have interacted most, in the past or in the last few hours, with the brand.

Sara Battaglia’s street performance

The fashion shows are yes fascinated, but the Fashion Week also provides presentations, exhibitions and collateral events. Among these there is one, with a charitable background, signed by the brand Sara Battaglia.

Part of the “Red Collar” project, which combines fashion and civil commitment to promote the rebirth of women who have suffered domestic violence, during the next MFW, this initiative takes the form of alive performance. An all-female street performance to be held Tuesday 20 February in the Fashion Quadrilatero, with the support of two exceptional partners: Wolford And Kering Eyewear. To participate, simply show up in via Croce Rossa, Milan, at 12.30.

Thanks to these initiatives, the distance between the public and the Maison is becoming increasingly shorter, making events popular that until recently were considered extremely exclusive, such as taking part in fashion shows. What will be the future of Milan Fashion Week? Only time will tell.
