how to access the Timone Black Market

The Black Market is where you’ll want to go in Skull and Bones for all of your most valuable resources, as long as you have some pretty rare currency.

The Black Market in Skull and Bones is where you can purchase all sorts of contraband resources, weapons with special perks, rare cosmetics, blueprints, and more.

Skull and Bones doesn’t go out of its way to inform you about the black market, so it’s easy to miss, especially if you’re not the type to talk to every NPC in the game.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Skull and Bones Black Market, how to unlock it, and what to expect.

How to Unblock the Black Market | Skull and Bones —

Unlocking the Black Market in Skull and Bones is relatively simple, and the process begins by speaking to Yanita Nara, the manager of the Le Pont Muet tavern in Sainte-Anne, the home port. The mission that asks you to do this is called “A Secret Initiation” and will appear at some point in the game, as you complete contracts for Scurlock and do pirate things to increase your infamy level.

Yanita will reveal the truth about the port tavern and the smugglers’ hideout it houses, behind a hidden door in the large barrel next to the bar counter, and this will begin the Timon questline. Le Pont Muet’s bartender will show you around the hideout, explaining the history of the Timone and gradually introducing you to the activities that take place there over the course of a couple of missions. To unlock the Black Market, you must progress through the mission The Helm and complete two contracts for Yanita. Once you return to her after completing the ensuing mission, he will grant you access to the Black Market.

What’s in the Black Market and how it works —

The Helm Black Market in Skull and Bones allows you to purchase contraband resources, i.e. large piles of all kinds of materials needed for crafting, a selection of weapons and armor with special perks, special cosmetics for the captain and ship, blueprints and more. Everything available on the Black Market can only be purchased with gold, as the market does not accept Silver. Gold pieces are the second in-game currency, used to purchase rare items and cosmetics and much more valuable than silver. One thing that can be purchased from the Black Market is, for example, the blueprint for the Pyromaniac Elder-type ship.
