The drop in temperatures this Monday coincides with the DANA that crosses the Iberian Peninsula
There will be rains and strong storms in the northeast and east of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands
If you have gone out into the street or looked out the window, you will have verified the sudden change of weather that began this Monday, October 10. The drop in temperatures and rainfall are due to the arrival of a trough that will become a DANA in the surroundings of the Iberian Peninsula during the next few days, mainly affecting the Mediterranean, including the Balearic Islands.
What will the weather be like this week in Spain?
The autonomous communities affected by the new DANA that has already begun to affect Spain are: Andalusia, Murcia, Valencian Community, east of Castilla-La Mancha, Teruel and the Huesca Pyrenees. In some counties of these regions, the AEMET has activated the yellow notice due to heavy rains, being able to collect this Monday more than 30 liters per square meter in just one hour. The Balearic Islands will also be affected by this change in weather, although it will not be until Tuesday, October 11, when you will notice the effects of DANA.
