How many women still have to die before The Hague intervenes?

It is difficult to write a column about something that touches me personally, but I’m going to try it anyway. I want to devote this column to my former business partner Derk Sauer. I knew he was seriously injured after the accident on his sailboat, but his death still came like a shock. I also knew Derk as a Sunday child that every disaster, no matter how heavy or deep, apparently effortlessly over again. He seemed to be born for happiness, so he would get up again from this disaster, I knew that for sure.
