How many TikTok views equal an annual salary?

How to make money on TikTok

Making a living with TikTok is no longer such an unrealistic endeavor these days. According to Advanced Television, the question “How do I make money on TikTok?” is asked on Google. an average of 57,200 times a month, the search for “How do I get followers on TikTok” is made an average of 33,600 times. So there is definitely a lot of interest in this special form of career. Although 272 million euros have been paid out to creators and influencers in the last three years, which shows that the platform has enormous monetary potential, there is more to being a successful TikTok creator than some might imagine. According to Columnist24, many potential advertising partners still view the relatively new platform with a certain mistrust, despite the enormous growth, which is why achieving financial success on TikTok requires a complex and well thought-out approach.

But what are the basic requirements that you have to meet in order to have your own reach paid for through the “TikTok Creator Fund”? As BASIC thinking explains, you have to be at least 18 years old, have a minimum number of 10,000 followers and have accumulated at least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days. In addition, the account must comply with TikTok’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. If all these boxes are ticked, nothing stands in the way of the TikTok career in theory. But now the question arises as to how many views an ambitious creator has to generate on his clips in order to be able to live from his passion.

In Germany you would have to reach 99 million views

In order to find out how many TikTok views are required to arrive at the respective annual salary in different countries, the Cashfloat experts compared the figures obtained via the analysis tool Lickd.co with the average salaries from 44 European countries. This comparison reveals a wide range of required view numbers, which of course also reflects the high discrepancy in the economic and financial situations of the individual countries.

In Germany, for example, to get the average annual salary of 30,708 euros, you would have to achieve 98.7 million views of your posted TikTok clips every year. This puts the Federal Republic in 10th place in a European comparison. The United Kingdom is on a similar level to Germany, British creators would have to create a number of 102.8 million views for the national average salary of 31,968 euros. It is most difficult as a creator in Liechtenstein, because here you would need a total of 188 million views to earn the above-average annual salary of 58,644 euros. Switzerland takes second place with 174 million views, followed by Luxembourg with 137.8 million views. In the economically weaker countries, on the other hand, the requirement for the minimum number of required views is disproportionately lower: In Georgia, for example, only 9.64 million views are needed and in Armenia only 9.61 million views to achieve the status of an average earner.
