Argentina is the second country of South America which will receive the award-winning exhibition created by the experts of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. The sensory and interactive experience, designed for the whole familyreplicates the thoughts of the great Dutch painter and allows you to get closer to the reproductions of his most emblematic paintings.
After going through Beijing, Barcelona, London, Lisbon, Madrid and Santiago de Chile and to sell With more than 1 million entries, the 3D exhibit will be presented at the Argentine Polo Field, between February 24 and April 30. The tour of the sample will be presented on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on the weekend, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Inspired by the knowledge and experience of the Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam, ‘Meet Vincent van Gogh‘ aims to bring art closer to families, adults and students and show the history of the well-known Dutch painter in an innovative, modern and three-dimensional way, thanks to this immersive 360º project. A proposal that has been taking place this year with other references in the plastic arts, such as Frida Kahlo and even with the same Vincent van Gogh last year.
“For us it is an honor to present in Argentina the only official experience of Vincent van Gogh in the world. We believe that this creation of the Vicent van Gogh Museum is a great, powerful and original idea, to bring the life and art of the great Dutch painter, to all the peoples of the planet” explained Marcelo Dionisio, one of the producers for Argentina.
Unlike other similar exhibitions, the visitor will be able to touch with their own hands the reproductions of the original works of art, the strokes of the brushstrokes, and will contemplate through full-scale projections, photographs, video fragments, theatrical decorations, audiovisual fragments and quotes drawn from more than 800 letters.
Along the way, supported by an audio guide, numerous characters will come to life: the painter himself, his brother Theo, his sister-in-law Jo Bonger, his mother and other people who have been key in his life. Attendees will be able to see crucial places in the life of Van Gogh thanks to decorations that evoke emblematic places such as the Parisian café Le Tambourinethe hospital of Saint-Rémy and the Yellow House of Arles.
The price of tickets for adults, on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, is $3,900 and $4,500 pesos on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Children under 10 years old are $2,500 every day.
