How is Leontine Ruiters doing? ‘Really a slap in the face’

How is Leontine Ruiters doing now that her ex-husband and the father of her children Marco Borsato is actually being prosecuted for indecency with a minor? “A limp in her face!”

It took two years, but the Public Prosecution Service has made the decision: they think they have enough evidence to prosecute Marco Borsato for indecency with an underage girl. Incredibly intense, because a more positive sentiment was developing about the singer. And his loved ones suddenly showed up everywhere again.

Mop Leontine

Leontine just crawled out of the valley a bit, says Yvonne Coldeweijer. She talks in her podcast The Juice Show: “Well, I had the idea that they are in Marco flow went along. I also heard that she walked like a mop through the Appie in the village where she lives. Village further away, what’s it called again? Laren? Or so. Het Gooi.”

She lives in Huizen. “Yes. That she walked through the Appie like a mop. Really, quite a long time. And disguised, etcetera. And then in the last few weeks actually, she felt like: hey, people have confidence again, they don’t believe it anymore, it’s taking too long, they’re on our side!”

‘Slap in her face’

In the weeks before his final prosecution, Marco enjoyed people who wanted to see him back on stage as soon as possible. Connie Witteman even wanted reparations. “You also saw Leontine suddenly brighten up, attracting much more attention… Speaking out much more, suddenly also in the media,” says Yvonne.

Leontine started to brighten up, but that’s all over now, the juice queen thinks. “She had bought a house, but she was also like: ‘We support him.’ She actually said that recently. And then this really is one slap in your face. I wonder how that will be received at home now…”

Due to a technical problem, today’s polls, like your vote, were unfortunately lost. The polls have now been reposted.
