The Dutch are preparing for ice cream fun. The first ice rinks have already opened and heavy frost is expected in the coming nights. But ice fun can also go hand in hand with life-threatening situations. Because anyone who falls through the ice can become hypothermic within a few minutes. How do you know if natural ice is safe enough to skate on? And what should you do if you fail? Ernst Brokmeier of the Dutch Rescue Brigade gives five tips.
