Snap snap with the wire cutters – and the greasers darted through the airport fence!
On Friday, eight climate extremists took the private jet terminal at BER in Schönefeld in a surprise attack and soiled a Danish doctor’s plane with orange paint. Why did they come back to the BER site so easily?
“The wire mesh fence is not intended to prevent such actions,” said a police spokesman for BZ. In addition, with such a large area, security guards could not be posted around the fence on sight.
After all, within 40 seconds, the federal and airport police were on site and ripped the fire extinguishers filled with paint out of the hands of the air-conditioning greasers.
After a blockade action in November, during which the chaotic paralyzed flight operations for hours, the emergency services were prepared accordingly.
