How cute! Goats, piglets and a calf were born in Zoetermeer

Visitors to Zoetermeer city farms are treated to young happiness. Despite winter time, calves, piglets and lambs, or young goats, have been born. Go pay it a visit!

It’s a cheerful place at Boerderij ‘t Geertje. Kids and piglets are born. For the first three days, the kids get colostrum (the first mother’s milk) from their own mother. Then they are given organic powdered goat milk. Real goat’s milk is used to make cheese.

Piglets

Not only the lambs and piglets at ‘t Geertje were born. At Stadsboerderij Het Buitenbeest the cowshed has been expanded with the arrival of a calf.
