Shownieuws star Natacha Harlequin does not understand that everyone hates Rachel Hazes. Has she spent too long at the desk with Guido den Aantrekker or is there something else going on?
Rachel Hazes has been struggling for years with the reputation of a greedy and quarrelsome woman. She is the cashier of the Hazes group and exploits that to the maximum, even with bath slippers at Lidl. In addition, the nicotine widow is at odds with half the world, so she doesn’t even see her own grandchildren. Pathetic.
“Why Rachel hate?”
And yet Natacha Harlequin wonders why Rachel is so unpopular. “Sometimes I (at Shownieuws, ed.) have a different opinion and I have something with the person they are all against – with which I do not agree,” she tells the Weekend. “As? Rachel Hazes.”
Natacha thinks it’s really annoying for Rachel. “I step into this world from outside, and I think: what is it that everyone hates that woman so much? I don’t have that, I don’t know her either. I just look very factually at statements or why someone is going to litigate.”
‘Is it me?’
Natacha thinks that there is sometimes quite a bit of sense between all those Rachel’s lawsuits. “As a lawyer I think: I actually understand that, in some cases. But then I notice, because it is her, that no one reads those statements, I believe.”
She continues: “People don’t find that interesting at all, but of course I do. So sometimes I read such a long verdict in detail, then watch TV and think: haven’t people read that verdict, or is it just me?”
imaging
Yes, it’s up to Natacha. Toga types always miss the fact that in these kinds of cases it is often not at all about who is right according to the letter of the law, but about what the image is. Showbiz is image, and celebrities know that all too well when they enter the profession. In fact, it’s what their entire cash flow is based on.
When Rachel argues with half the world, including her children, and runs to court for every trifle, that’s just grossly unsympathetic. Do people still want to go to a Hazes concert if you know that Rachel uses all that income to burden the legal system with futilities? Time will tell.
