The murder of Maga activist Charlie Kirk on a university campus in Utah has sparked a wave of anger on the right. Many politicians and influencers attack “Die Linke”. Others openly call for retribution and even warn of a “civil war”.
Trump’s rhetoric and first reactions
Shortly after Kirk’s death was confirmed on Wednesday, President Donald Trump held a speech in the Oval Office. Without evidence, he presented Kirk’s murder as the “radical left”. Neo -Nazis and right propaganda
Even neo -Nazis want to use Kirk’s death propaganda. The Blood Tribe group wrote: “Charlie Kirk was our enemy during his lifetime. In death, he is a martyr in death because he was killed in a climate in which he was considered one of us.”
While the calls become louder after retaliation, the perpetrator remains fleeting. The FBI search is running, a suspect initially arrested was released again.
