Féline (11) takes Chloë on their lap during the conversation. When she tells about their wheelchair bus, which is broken, Chloë is interested in her loudly. “Yes, she’s going to talk better and better. She’s less tired,” laughs Jeanine.
With that bus the family is quite in their stomach. He does not want to start more and more often. “The Jumpstarter is always ready. And the power steering sometimes falls away and the brake steering,” says Arno.
Jeanine: “I’m no longer comfortable in the car. Is it safe? It brings a lot of stress.” But both parents get rid of the car. And that has to do with Jason. “There we transported our son during his last ride. So emotionally that is tough,” says Jeanine.
The family uses the bus for Chloës treatments in the hospital, among others. Jeanine: “On that medicine we have a bit of the hope that she can stay with us a little longer. We are going to reach the adulthood.”
Arno: “We stay strong for the girls. The children drag us through.”
