It is not easy to find a good student room in Leuven. Today, many (future) students – whether or not accompanied by their parents – took their chance to find a room. They had to exercise some patience. Before even being allowed to admire the entrance hall of the student building, you had to queue for hours. And those who were unlucky stood in line for nothing. “The combination of few rooms and a large influx is causing a big rush for student rooms,” said Michiel Jacxsens of the Xior rental office at VTM News.
