In Werkendam, a fire raged in a house with a thatched roof on Thursday afternoon. The fire has now spread to a building opposite. A lot of smoke is released, warns the security region.
Explosions were heard in the fire. These may be gas bottles that are present in the building, the fire service reports. Images on Twitter show that little is left of the house and that a lot of smoke is released from the fire in the other building.
It is still unclear whether there were any injuries. The fire brigade is present with a lot of material to extinguish the fire.
